ONLY 2 cars were on the stand this one chassis #119008 Met Silver with Navy & #119009 that was Bali Blue with Red, this example #119008 was the 1st T6B ( twin Grill) delivered into Australia and was Norman Hamilton\'s order number of 514. #119008 and was rushed shipped from the factory in Germany to Australia for the 1962 IMS for the launch of the new T6B for Australia; Such a rush she was delivered straight from the docks to the Motor Show and prepared on the stand. This historic and very rare T6B \'\'Twin Grill\'\' Coupe is period correct in every way including "period date/correct" 1600 engine with matching gearbox complete with original owners manuals/certificate\'s/ sales order/factory order form/news article\'s/magazines features etc and still as she was in 1962. A comprehensive file/history folders comes with this beautiful 356 Twin Grill which has been restored both exterior/interior/mechanically over her many years of fastidious ownership with extensive works completed by the best in the business i.e Phil Hearn, Auto Coupe\', Spyder Automobiles and many others. A winner of many awards including "Gold" at the 2001 356 National Registry. and owned by previous President of 356 registry and the 356 registry founding member so you can appreciate this example must be worthy.

Still so attractive in her classic factory Metallic Silver with Navy Vinyl and matching cabin and period correct dials/gauges with the only change being a stunning "Nardi" Wood S/Wheel (original included very rare special leather bound wheel gift from Porsche AG to Hamilton) and period correct "Tecno Magnesio" Light Alloy Wheels and spacers to enhance her road presence and better driving, but the original wheels and crested hubcap\'s come with the sale. A tribute to her past custodians of this significant 356B Twin Grille she is complete with her original sales order from 1962 being sold at the show stand then delivered straight after the 1962 IMS to a Mr D Aarans in Elwood Victoria showing her options list of "Polaroid Windscreen, Crested Hubcaps, Amber Blinkers" and the original delivery order. This extremely sought after T6B is only back on the open market due to her collector client who has owned her for the past 10+ years now downsizing his extensive Porsche collection.
