History:
The 356 is the first production Porsche. It was built in Stuttgart from 1948 to 1965. The 356 A, introduced in 1955, received a one-piece curved windshield, revised suspension, and a more powerful engine. The bodies came from the Reutter workshops.
This example was built in 1956. The current owner had the car imported from Switzerland in 2014. As a body shop professional, he subsequently undertook a complete restoration of the car. This restoration is documented by photos in the appraisal report.
Condition:
The car was restored about ten years ago and remains in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.
The bodywork is in very good condition. The beige paint is well presented and in good condition. Only a few minor defects are visible in the "imperfections" section on our website. The chrome trim is in good condition and the seals are new. The wheels are in good condition. The spare wheel is present.
The cabin is very well presented. The burgundy leatherette upholstery is in very good condition. The carpets and door panels match and are also in good condition. The steering wheel is ivory-colored, and the dashboard is painted in the body color with a red upper section.

The cylinders, pistons, bearings, and gaskets were replaced, and the gearbox was overhauled several years ago. The engine starts from cold and runs normally, with no noise or smoke.
