When you open the door of this 504, it feels as if you're getting into a younger, used car in the 1970s. I have rarely seen an unrestored 45-year-old car in which the interior is virtually immaculate. Seats, door panels, dashboard and headliner have hardly any wear. Even the ashtrays and cigarette lighter have never been used!

When you put the key in the ignition and give it the slightest turn, it will start immediately! Amazing.

The body has signs of wear which is to be expected after 45 years. You can also call it patina. It’s really nice to see, it partially has the first factory paint!

The 504 is easy to control without any strange noises. Cars with high mileage can have issues with steering clearance, slack on the gearstick, rattling suspension and poor handling, this is absolutely not the case on this one. It’s as if you’re driving a young, used, second-hand car.
