Our Peugeot 404 Convertible has just returned from a 6-year stay in Spain. Here the car was used as a second car at the owner’s holiday home. This man bought the car from someone who had imported the Peugeot from France and completely restored it for many years. That was done perfectly, and also the reason that the convertible still looks very good. The last owner has treated it very welll and not only in terms of external treatment, but also the technique was never forgotten. Even recently the gearbox has been overhauled and the clutch replaced.

Very special is that it is a floor-shifter, which means very precise and sportier shifting. Also take a good look at the Robri “spinner” hubcaps which are in great condition. There were a number of well-known suppliers of accessories at that time. By far the best known was ROBRI, the brand with the harness in the logo. The brand from Puteaux (Seine) manufactured a very wide range of afterfit parts for Peugeot, including these beautiful hubcaps. Also the color of the mohair soft top is like new and looks great with the maroon red body color and gives the Frenchman a chic look.

The Peugeot 404 Convertible offers plenty of space to driver and passenger, and even the back seed is comfortable for passengers. The general comfort is at a high level. The trunk space is also large enough to carry luggage for a few weeks, so a wonderful holiday trip can be planned.
