The Peugeot 306 is an iconic compact car from the French manufacturer, produced from 1993 to 2002 — with a convertible version marketed from 1994 to 2002, with 77,500 units sold. The successor to the Peugeot 309, it is based on the Citroën ZX platform, with which it shares many components.
From its launch in 1994, the convertible version was a huge hit, reaching 50,000 sales in just four years. Its success can be attributed in particular to its design and assembly by Pininfarina, making the 306 the last Peugeot convertible manufactured in Italy.
The model we are offering for sale is an attractive 2002 Swiss edition, carefully configured by its first owner. It combines an elegant Bleu de Chine colour with a rare apricot leather interior, a combination that is as original as it is sought-after. Notable features include heated seats, cruise control and the very rare automatic transmission, adding real comfort to this charming convertible.
Delivered new in Switzerland, this 306 has always been serviced by the Peugeot network. It has recently undergone several major repairs: replacement of the soft top and a complete overhaul of the timing system. With less than 100,000 km on the odometer, it is now in good overall condition. Well-preserved and well-equipped examples are becoming rare on the market, making this 306 Cabriolet an opportunity not to be missed.
The various specific badges missing from the photographs are included with the car.
