Il s'agit d'une des premières 208 de Rallycross construite pour la 1ère Saison du Championnat du Monde de Rallycross en 2014. Cette voiture porte le numéro de châssis N°4 et a participé à l'intégralité du championnat 2014 et 2015 avec plusieurs pilotes à son volant: Timmy Hansen, Timur Timerzyanov et Davy Jeanney.

Pour sa toute première saison en 2014, saison d’apprentissage, Peugeot a finit 3ème du Championnat du Monde Constructeurs et 4ème au classement Pilote dont 2 podiums (Canada - France) et une victoire (Italie).

En 2015, Peugeot a remporté le championnat du Monde Constructeurs et Timmy Hansen a fini 2ème et Davy JEANNEY 5ème dont 5 victoires (Allemagne-Canada-Norvège-France-Turquie) et 2 podiums (Portugal-Belgique). Comme à son habitude, les équipes de Peugeot Sport ont très vite appris cette nouvelle spécialité, puisque dès la 2ème saison, ils décrochaient le titre.

L’auto a depuis été maintenue et suivi selon les préconisations et les standards du constructeur par une équipe professionnelle. En 2017 elle a également été utilisée par Sébastien Loeb pour la réalisation du film servant à la nouvelle attraction à son effigie au parc d'attraction Futuroscope.

This car is one of the first 208 Rallycross especially built for the first season of the 2014 Rallycross World Championship. Chassis No 4 has competed in the all the 2014 and 2015 Championship with a few different drivers like Timmy Hansen, Timur Timerzyanov and Davy Jeanney.
In the 2014 season, Peugeot finished 3rd in the World Manufacturers Championship and 4th in the Driver’s Championship, with 1 victory (Italy) and 2 podiums (Canada-France).
In 2015, Peugeot won the title for the World Manufacturer’s Championship, for the drivers, Timmy Hansen who finished 2nd. Davy Jeanney finished 5th, that including 5 victories (Germany – Canada – Norway – France – Turkey). As usual, Peugeot-Sport very quickly learned how to take the lead!
Since then, the car has been regularly maintained by a specialist team, according to manufacturer’s recommendation. In 2017, Sebastien Loeb used the car for the making of a short movie, in conjunction with the Futuroscope in Poitiers (France).
