Acquise en 1994 par son propriétaire actuel, celui-ci a entrepris une restauration en profondeur sur 10 ans. Chaque pièce sera démonté, rénové ou changé : châssis, trains roulants, mécanique, électricité, carrosserie, peinture, structure bois, skaï extérieur et sellerie,..., tout a été remis à neuf.et ce n’est qu’en 2004 qu’il pourra de nouveau l’immatriculer. Carrossée en faux landaulet 4 portes, il arbore une belle peinture rouge bordeaux conforme à l’origine.
Selon un article de La Vie de L’Auto, qui sera fourni, il n’aurait existé que 130 Peugeot 177 Weyman, dont seul 3 seraient identifiés à ce jour.

Acquired in 1994 by its current owner, the car has undergone a very comprehensive 10 years restoration. Every item has been put apart, restored or changed: Chassis, driving train, mechanicals, electricity, bodywork, paint, wooden frames, external leatherette and upholstery…, everything has been put back to a “new” condition. The car has been re-registered in 2004. Coach in 4 doors “faux Landaulet”, the body is painted in Burgundy red as original.
According to a press article from French magazine “La Vie de l’Auto” (coming with the car), there has been only 130 Peugeot 177 Weyman and only 3 are known today.
