The evolution of the Zonda has been an exciting journey. From the C12 in 1999, with a 389bhp 6-litre V12 engine, to the 555bhp 7.3-litre C12S in 2002, Pagani has produced a range of examples, ninety five in total, that have been hailed by motoring journalists as the epitome of what a modern supercar should represent. As new models have become lighter, more powerful and faster than their predecessors, the Zonda has humbled cross-town rivals, Ferrari and Lamborghini, and shown that traditional small volume Italian coachbuilders can rub shoulders with industry giants.
