The Morgan Plus 8 was introduced in England in 1968, designed by Maurice Owen. Based on a modified Plus 4 chassis, it was equipped with a Rover V8 engine, Moss gearbox and Salisbury axle with limited-slip differential. The model evolved over the years until the Rover V8 was discontinued in 2003. In 1983, the Plus 8 adopted electronic fuel injection, then switched to a 3.9-liter displacement in 1990. With a power output of 190 hp and weighing just 940 kg, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h. It's a true sports car, offering thrills and spills thanks to its classic design.
This Morgan Plus 8 has a special story to tell: after it was announced that production of the model would cease, two friends ordered a Morgan Plus 8 35th Anniversary from the brand's Paris dealer. In 2004, they took delivery of the car directly from the factory. Shortly afterwards, one of the two friends, the current owner, bought the car for personal use. Today, this rarity has just 26,000 km on the clock.
