Description

"The Morgan Plus 4 was the Morgan Motor Company's first car with four wheels, introduced in 1936 following the end of production of the famed three wheeled motorcycle engine models. Its model designation ‘4/4’ stood for four wheels and four cylinders. Apart from a break during World War II, the 4/4 has been in continuous production from its debut right up to the present day with its engine capacity increased from the 1122cc and Coventry Climax engine in 1936, to a 1.8 litre Ford engine by 2004. Always a popular choice for sports car enthusiasts across the globe, the combination of the typically British 1930's styling with its flowing wings, modern performance and reliability, Morgan have ensured this car is as popular today as it has ever been.
This handsome 4/4 was originally registered on 18th November 1998 and has had three former keepers throughout its life. Sitting proudly on chrome wire wheels this Morgan is finished in Maroon with an Oatmeal colour interior. Fitted with a Ford Zetec engine, we are advised by the vendor it drives very well with no known faults. Supplied with a V5C registration document together with an MoT test certificate valid until 7th April 2020 and a collection of previous service invoices. A quintessentially British motor car that never fails to attract admiring glances."
