The Morgan 4/4 is a record holder. The 4/4 model has been in production since 1936, making it the longest running model in the world. The name 4/4 stands for 4 wheels and 4 cylinders. At the time, Morgan only built tricycles, so marking the 4 wheels was important. There have been many variants with different engines in more than 80 years of the Morgan 4/4. Even though the model has gone with the times, the 4/4 still has a slender bodywork that closely resembles the first model.

The car offered here dates from 1989 and at that time the 4/4 was delivered with a Ford CVH engine coupled to a five-speed gearbox. The horsepower weight ratio of the 4/4 is excellent. This allows the light Morgan to work well, especially with the modified new Suplex front suspension. It ensures that driving becomes an intense and exciting experience again. The car is supplied in sporty red (Hot Red) with a black hood and black leather, both trimmed with a red piping. The chrome wire wheels and bumper stand out nicely. The wooden dashboard is in excellent condition and the chrome counter, rings and adapted indicator lights make it complete.

No expense has been spared in recent years to keep this 4/4 in excellent condition. In 2017, for example, the complete clutch and timing belt were replaced, the carburetor was overhauled and the furse box, water pump and thermostat replaced. The battery and the king-pins were subsequently replaced in 2018, all this in addition to regular maintenance. Nice to know when you are going to buy a 30 year old car right? In short, a super good Morgan in a popular price range!
