Description

- One of a kind Morgan 4/4 base, with streamlined aluminium bodywork, “Brooklands” type, built in the 1940s by Coachbuilders Victors of Belfast. Conservative bodywork restoration and mechanics totally overhauled. Three owners in the UK then imported into Italy in 1991 by jazzman Carletto Loffredo. British number plates and documents.
- Bare aluminium bonnet, machined, medium blue bodywork, wing extensions added later to make the car roadworthy. The interior underwent a conservative restoration, with many parts still original, dating from 1938. Extremely light chassis and bodywork, typical British sports car instrumentation.
- Engine completely rebuilt in 2018, the car has done very few kilometres since the end of the work. Mechanics in perfect condition. Rare version of a Morgan of the late 1930s with Ford mechanics, simple and robust, 1100 engine with side valves, 4-speed gearbox.
- Fascinating and unusual 1930s car, unique shape that does not go unnoticed, certainly less seen than the Italian “Barchettas” of the same era. Reliable mechanics, easy to drive due to its compactness and lightness, in the best tradition of British sports cars. Sitting behind the wheel immediately takes you back a century, while the drivability is extremely up-to-date, a distinctive mark of the Morgans of all times.
