With its last MOT carried out on 19th October 1999, this 1952 MG TD was bought by David Hutcheson in October 2002 from a close friend and fellow classic car enthusiast as a complete and running car. As was David’s keen eye for perfection, this project was destined to be the subject of a full and exacting restoration. Consequently dismantled by David for restoration, much work has evidently been carried out to a high standard. Believed to be substantially complete with the exception of the seats, it is now offered as a full restoration project. With market values constantly on the rise for these most useable MGs, this project offers the DIY classic enthusiast a head start on what should become a most rewarding exercise.
