Description

Just 175 miles since rebuild
Immaculate condition
Fitted with an elegant sporting body
Offered from a private collection

This spectacular MG Q-Type Special, utilises a TC chassis from the ground-up with all new components throughout. The correct XPAG motor was rebuilt by renowned expert Peter Edney with fast road cams, new SU’s and an unleaded head conversion. Having been professionally rebuilt with all new drive chain, brakes, steering gear, kingpins, springs, electrics, lights, alloy body, instruments, wheels, splines, diff and new tyres. The tuned XPAG motor runs as sweet as a nut, with the unmistakeable roar from this stainless exhaust. The hydraulic AFIN drum brakes means the car stops on demand which might we add is very useful as we don’t expect anyone driving this MG to be going slowly! The fully rebuilt synchro gearbox shifts perfectly with no stutter.

Having covered just 175 miles since the completion of the work, this car is being sold from a private collection due to the owner re-locating next year.
