"The fixed roof MG B GT enjoyed an impressive production run that lasted from 1965 until 1980. The sporty design was from Pininfarina and can be said to have launched the sporty ‘hatchback ‘style. With the combination of a rear deck lid and a rear sloping window, the B GT offered the practicality of a station wagon linked to the style of a coupé. The B GT offered far more luggage space than the roadster and made use of a 2 + 2 configuration. Mechanically only a few components varied from the roadster but the B GT did receive different suspension springs, anti-roll bars and a different windscreen.
Originally registered in April 1971, this MG B has been in the ownership of the current vendor for over 30 years. Although this MG hasn’t been on the road for a while the vendor states that he recently applied a little 'TLC' and the car started well. This attractive MG benefits from a Webasto sunroof, chrome bumpers and automatic transmission. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a file containing various bills and receipts. This MoT exempt MG B has provided years of enjoyment and with the right care should continue to do so for many more."
