Description

The MG A first came off the lines at Abingdon in 1955, succeeding the TD and TF and bringing a breath of modernity to MG after the war. Thanks to its curvaceous styling and low, swept-back lines, the new model turned heads. In 1958, a new "Twin-Cam" model made its début, with its engine bored out to 1.6 litres and a twin-cam aluminium cylinder head, as well as all-round disc brakes. The MG A was transformed from a docile little convertible into a true sports car to take on track. Its 109bhp promised increased performance, with a top speed now over 180kph, allowing it to take on its competitors, from Alfa Romeo especially. After only two years in production, just 1788 roadsters and 323 coupés were built, making it a rare and quick car.

The car has stunning condition and the mechanics has been recently fully overhauled with invoices for over 20.000 euro.
After the engine rebuilt the car has been used for less than 8.000 km.
French papers and registration.
Perfect to enjoy in summertime or historic cars events.
