Very low mileage, demonstrable from the maintenance history and the National Car Pass (NAP). This is a first facelift car ('Modellpflege 1'); side plating in the car colour, slimmer bumpers, a new interior, a brighter shade of silver, but still the classic six-cylinder in-line engines in the SL280 and SL320.

Beautiful, understated version in a timeless colour scheme. Brilliant silver with dark blue leather upholstery and a dark blue soft-top. The car was ordered with radio preparation (option 533), it was common at the time to combine it with a radio from another brand. Because of its originality, we did not mount an MB radio afterwards.

Externally and technically in very good, original condition; undamaged; no dents, no scratches. The paint has never been polished, but in was ‘clayed’ in 2020 and waxed by hand.

The history of the car is known (and all the owners). Always maintained by a dealer; the maintenance history is available. The last service (periodic maintenance + periodic inspection) was on 12 March 2021 at approx. 59,150 km, carried out by official Mercedes-Benz dealer Cor Millenaar in Aalsmeer.

- the soft-top was renewed in June 2020, the convertible module was swapped for a part exchange replacement in 2021. The soft-top mechanism works properly. It opens and closes well. However, the control knob often has a light and sound signal.

- the electrical antenna is not working at the moment
- the front bumper was replaced in the past and, according to the Mercedes-Benz service history, the car was broken into from the right side.

This SL280 is without a doubt one of the best cars in the Netherlands at the moment. A true collector’s item. The car is occasionally driven; the mileage will go up slightly.
