Description
1992 MERCEDES BENZ 300 SL
Chassis n°WDB1290601F060081
French registration
The new SL made its appearance in 1989. It was no longer Paul Bracq who was in charge of design at Mercedes-Benz, but Bruno Sacco.
It's to him that we owe the sublime, timeless design of the 1989/2001 SL. The styling is modern yet classic, and it's safe to predict that this cabriolet will find it hard to wrinkle, as the design already seems timeless. The line is wildly elegant in every possible combination, open, hooded or as a Hard Top coupe. The quality of construction and finish reflects the brand's image - no argument there!
The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL on display has 135,000 km on the clock. The Hard Top that transforms this convertible into a true coupe is part of the equipment. The running gear is sound, and the hydraulic soft-top and hard-top system work to perfection. Acquired by the current owner from our study in 2011, he has since maintained this car and covered some 5,000 km.
