Description

If there’s one car that we can, in terms of looks, place next to the biggest icon of Mercedes -300SL-, it must be the 190SL! Early in 1955 the 190SL started life as a open grand tourer. The Mercedes 190SL might share a lot simularity tot he 300SL, nontheless it was built for completely different purposes, namely; roofless elegance, luxe and driving pleasure. The 190SL is built on a shortened platform of its even mor luxurios brother, the W121 ‘Ponton’ which makes the 190SL thus more sportier to drive.

Offered here is a classy Mercedes-Benz 190SL from 1957. The dark grey ‘Anthrasite Metallic’ in combination with the light brown interior exudes luxury from miles away, pure class. Under the hood lays a perfectly well maintained straight 4 that’s good for 105hp and a maximum speed of 180km/h, perfect for long distances and enjoyable summerdrives. This example underwent a full ‘nuts and bolts’ restoration to concours comdition and that’s not unseen.

This wonderfully configurated Mercedes-Benz 190SL is now aviable at Rock N’ Roll Classics
