ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Separating the S65 as the flagship model of the Mercedes range is the monstrous 6L V12 Bi-turbo engine underneath the bonnet. Producing 603 bhp and 738 lb-ft of torque the S65 AMG offers almost supercar levels of performance, managing 0-60mph in just 4.4 seconds with a limited to a top speed of 155 mph. Handling the incredible level of torque is no mean feat and so Mercedes opted to fit their 5G-Tronic automatic gearbox as it was the only system available that could handle the full force of the V12 under acceleration.

Mechanically this car has wanted for nothing, with the 1st and only owner servicing the car exclusively with the supplying dealer from new.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
AMG 20″ alloys sit at each corner and show in superb condition, with matching continental rubber fitted all around. The large wheels are necessary to fit the colossal brakes, with 390mm front and 365mm rear composite discs, complete with double callipers at the front, providing immense and remarkably fade-resistant stopping power.

Mercedes patented Active Body Control system keeps the vast body of the S65 in order, containing pitch under hard acceleration, dive under braking, and body-roll during hard cornering with auto adjustable damping depending of the drive/gearbox setting selected (Comfort, Sport or Manual).
