This Mercedes V8 series W126 was delivered new in Italy (European version) and was used until 1993, when the car was deregistered because the old owner moved abroad, but then the car was never exported from Italy. Therefore, the car has been resting unused in the garage for 30 years, and this explains the low mileage on the instrument, which is only 110,000 km.

This Mercedes was won in a previous No Reserve auction on 10 July, but the buyer did not complete the payment and their account can no longer make purchases.

The bodywork is sound and original with some signs of age but no traces of corrosion. The doors and bonnets close smoothly.

A new set of tyres were recently installed because the car still had tyres from 1981!

The interior is in incredibly beautiful condition, with the rare ‘Buffalo’-coloured leather extra and the beautifully preserved dashboard, having been kept in the garage. It is very hard to find such a well preserved version with leather interior on these saloons.

Mechanical-wise, the car has been left idle for 30 years, brakes need to be overhauled together with all the petrol tubes and a complete service. However, the engine turns freely, although I have not tried to start it.

The underbody is original and sound overall, with no traces of significant incidents and with normal signs of use compatible with the car's age and history. The technical inspection expired over 30 years ago.
