We have again succeeded in finding a real Cool Classic. A Mercedes 280 SE W108 3.5 liter eight-cylinder in very good condition with a beautiful color combination.

The W108 was the successor of the W111 Baureihe in the mid-sixties and was in turn succeeded by the W116 (first official S-class) in the late seventies. Only 11,309 were built from this 280 SE 3.5 version.

Our Dunkel Blaue W108 is out of condition (which we describe as excellent), fully documented. She started her life in St. Gallen, Switzerland on April 18, 1972. 27 years later she came to the Netherlands, where she is still owned by her first Dutch owner. He, in turn, completely restored the car 10 years ago and has recently been checked completely technically and equipped with an LPG G3 installation. The important specifications of the 280SE are; automatic gearbox, power steering, heated rear window, floodlights and armrests both front and rear. We can also say with certainty that the odometer reading is correct, because in addition to the Betriebsanleitung, Abgasdocument, we also have the Wartungsheft with 13 entries. In addition, we have 6 Dutch A.P.K. reports that further support mileage. The V8 block even delivers more than enough racehorses (200) for contemporary traffic and sounds beautiful.

Unser Dunkel Blau W108 ist nicht in einem Zustand (den wir als exzellent bezeichnen) und vollständig dokumentiert. Sie begann ihr Leben am 18. April 1972 in St. Gallen, Schweiz. 27 Jahre später kam sie in die Niederlande, wo sie immer noch ihrem ersten niederländischen Besitzer gehört. Er hat seinerseits das Auto vor 10 Jahren komplett restauriert und wurde kürzlich technisch komplett überprüft und mit einer LPG G3-Anlage ausgestattet.
