This Mercedes 280 SE 3.5 automatic was delivered new in Germany in 1970. Arriving in France in 2023, this Mercedes is in superb overall condition following a complete restoration.

The entire restoration was carried out by Thiesen in Germany (where the current owner purchased the car) and HK Engineering, two workshops renowned for these models in Europe. The standard of work carried out is high:
- bodywork stripped down
- new paintwork (original colour: light grey #180)
- restored chrome
- new upholstery & refurbished woodwork
- complete mechanical overhaul and restoration
- restored running gear
- refurbished suspension and brakes
- new consumables

The car is in its original condition, all the dashboard instruments are functional and the sunroof works perfectly. An additional fan has been installed in front of the radiator.
