We have a wonderful 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL Pagoda with the favoured manual transmission. This 250SL was supplied when new, where else than, in Beverley Hills in California. The car arrived in the Netherlands after a short stopover in the UK.

This 250SL has a lovely blue hardtop that gave it the Pagoda nickname. A blue soft-top also forms part of the itinerary. The car has a striking finish of a white body and blue hardtop, blue leather upholstery and grey carpets. The blue leather colour is also reflected in the hue of the carpets. Bodywork and hardtop are in good shape. The panelwork is nice and thin and correctly aligned. The brightwork and wheels nuts have also been well cared for. The accompanying soft-top is in good condition and closes neatly.

The interior has a great feel to it, the leather has developed a fine patina and all the carpets were recently replaced. The wooden dashboard looks great too with the original Becker Europe radio as crowning glory.

The Mercedes-Benz 250SL Pagoda is the rarest of Pagodas with its 2.5 litre straight-six developing some 150 Ps which in our case is transferred out through its manual 4-speed. This car odometer has just reached the 87,000 mile mark. The mileage has been verified by means of the invoices and service book stamps that accompany the car. During a recent major service all hoses were replaced amongst other service items carried. Both engine and transmission work perfectly. The brakes are nice and responsive. The Pagoda appears to built for all eternity. The Datenkarte shows us this is a fully matching numbers model.

There is a reassuring amount of documentation that comes with this car. There are many invoices, a fully loaded car wallet including the Datenkarte.

This is not just a gorgeous Mercedes-Benz 250SL Pagoda to look at, this low mileage car has also been impeccably maintained.
