THE CAR IN AUCTION:
This Mercedes-Benz 220S "Rally Monte Carlo" is a Mercedes-Benz 220S, which was modified and used for the famous Monte Carlo Rally.
The 220S is equipped with a 2.2L six-cylinder petrol engine, which was advanced at the time and delivered good performance.

Modifications and features: To meet the demands of the rally, this car received specific modifications, such as reinforced suspension, rally tires and sometimes extra fuel tanks for long-distance driving.
The car was also equipped with a roll cage, sports steering wheel and other adjustments necessary for racing.
