"The E63 AMG was the refreshed high-performance model of the W211, replacing the E55 AMG. It was an impressive car that combined huge power and performance along with luxury refinement. The AMG V8 engine had a high-pressure die-cast alloy cylinder block and according to many auto journalists, the E63 AMG was one of the quickest production sports saloons in the world at the time and it’s no wonder with its impressive 507 bhp and 465 ft lb of torque accelerating the luxury saloon from 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds and on to a limited 155 mph. Compared to the previous E55 AMG, the E63 AMG had more horsepower and was now mated to the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission.
While the E500 and E550 had the standard Mercedes Airmatic DC suspension with adaptive damping, the E63 AMG had the AMG-tuned Airmatic suspension which with the stability control turned off gave it far better driving dynamics than its non-AMG predecessors.
The E63 AMG on offer here looks handsome in metallic black with Nappa black leather interior. First registered on 1stSeptember 2007, this luxury sports saloon is fully loaded with features from electric memory seats, front and rear parking sensors, heated seats, air cooled seats, climate control, cruise control, switchable traction control, adjustable sports suspension, Sat-nav, auto bi Xenon headlamps, auto anti dazzle rear view mirrors, auto wipers, privacy glass and original 18-inch AMG alloy wheels to list just a few! This particular example is in exceptional condition for its age, the exterior and interior are superb, the wheels are unmarked and it drives exactly how a E63 AMG should, smooth and comfortable but extremely powerful. The vendor advises that this fantastic example drives and sounds amazing and is in immaculate condition for year.
The car is supplied with a full service history, service log book with 9 stamps, V5C registration document and MoT test certificate that expires in June 2019.
