"The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a range of executive cars manufactured in various engine and body configurations. Produced since 1993, the E-Class falls mid-range in the Mercedes line-up, and has been marketed worldwide across five generations. Launched in 2002, the W211 E-Class was another evolution of the previous model and was face-lifted in June 2006 for the 2007 model year to address quality and technical issues raised by earlier models. The largest factory-built engine in the E-Class range is the E500 which had its engine size increased from 5 litres to 5.5 litres in 2006 along with the facelift.
This lovely example is presented in Obsidian Black with black leather interior. A copy of the original build sheet data can be seen on file and this powerful E55 AMG comes with climate controlled air conditioning, electric memory/heated front and heated rear seats, electric glass sunroof, Isofix rear child seat mounting, five speed automatic transmission and Parktronic system. This car is powered by the mighty 472bhp, 5.4 litre supercharged V8 which propels it from 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds and 0-100 in 9.8 seconds, according to factory information when manufactured. The performance of this ‘family’ saloon was quicker than most two-door sports cars costing over double, ‘wolf in sheeps clothing’ springs to mind. Offered at a fraction of its original price, this wonderful E55 presents itself as a terrific opportunity. The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day."
