Produced from 1997 to 2009, the Mercedes-Benz CLK is an elegant coupé combining the rigour of the C-Class chassis with the more prestigious look of the E-Class. Available in two generations (W208 and W209), it benefits from the powerful engines of the range, culminating in the AMG version.
The CLK 55 AMG, powered by a naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V8 engine developing 347 horsepower, perfectly embodies the spirit of ‘German grand touring’. High-performance, comfortable and discreetly muscular, it quickly became an iconic model, even being chosen as the official Safety Car in Formula 1 between 1997 and 1998.
The example we are offering here is a 2002 model, one of the very last of the first W208 generation. Arriving in France in 2005, this vehicle has covered only 97,000 km since leaving the factory, a mileage corroborated by the Histovec history.
This CLK 55 AMG is very well equipped, featuring an electric sunroof, parking assist and xenon headlights.
Its current owner informs us that it has been serviced and mechanically restored (no invoices available). The vehicle is now in good condition. However, please note that an engine warning light may occasionally come on, linked to the lambda sensors, but this does not affect the vehicle's performance.
