It officially debuted in 2012 and, immediately, people understood that it will be one of the most extreme coupes ever made in Stuttgart. We are talking about the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series.
The C 63 AMG Black Series was equipped with a body with a wider 56 mm roadway overall than the C-Class of that period. In addition to this, the weight has been reduced thanks to the use of carbon fiber and a motor bonnet made of aluminum.
Under the hood there is a 6.3-liter V8 engine capable of 517 HP, combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission that transmitt the power on the rear wheels. The 0 to 100 kph happens in just 4.2 seconds and the maximum speed is 300 kph.
Apart from the ultra-performant engine, the C 63 AMG Black Series features adjustable AMG sports suspension, AMG Track with sports tires and a special transmission cooling system, high-performance AMG braking system and the AMG Aerodynamics package that adds a front splitter and adjustable rear wing.
The C 63 AMG Black Series is in all its aspect a car born to race, to gallop on the track, its natural habitat. The Limited-Slip Differential on the rear helps the wheels to transfer the incredible power released by the 8 cylinders onto the road.
Inside the cockpit, in fact, we find different details from the world of racing cars, such as leather shell seats and Alcantara with contrasting red seams and trims.
