1996 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor Sport, W202 1st series.

This is a very special unit as it is the Sport version, equipped with a manual gearbox. Few units were produced in this version. In addition, this unit stands out for being in a great state of preservation and originality.

Its unassuming and elegant appearance belies the 193 HP output of its 2.3 l supercharged engine, further enhanced by the elimination of its badges at source. It has always been very well maintained (its appearance proves it), it has never had an unfavourable ITV (Spanish vehicle inspection), and its fluids and filters have just been serviced.

It runs quietly and smoothly. As you would expect from a car with these specifications that has been well maintained from day one. The suspension offers a compromise between comfort and efficiency that is hard to match, and you won't hear the slightest rattle or creak.

Registered in Germany in March 1996, imported to Spain in January 1999, it has had only one owner since. It retains almost all of its original paintwork (only the bumpers and bonnet have been repainted) and has only 123,000 km on the odometer. It still has its three original keys.
