This Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer was first registered on July 11, 1952 in Hamburg with the registration number BH55-3050. It was sold in Singen on July 25, 1954 when it was registered under the number BR21-3532. In September 1954 it was sold in Freiburg where a furniture company is the registered owner, under number FR-D 1. In 1959 the car was bought by a dealer in Fürstenfeldbruck for re-sale and it is duly sold on the 8 July 1960 to another dealer in Kaiserslauten.
Eventually a Mr Süssdorf from Ramstein sold the car in Austria where it was imported on the 22 September by the customs customs. The value is stated 10,000 Austrian shillings (around 750€)
A few years later, the car returned to Germany. A couple of years ago it was purchased by the present owner in its current restored condition. The car is now beautifully finished in black with a tan leather interior with matching soft top. In 2016, the tonneau-cover was refurbished. Moreover, an invoice for over 10,000€ from January 2016 which will be delivered with the car details the recent works carried out including the refurbishment of the brakes, a new water pump, new tyres and the gasket and seals of the differential have been replaced. This beautiful Mercedes convertible is ready to be used for rallies and events as soon as the sun comes out again.
