In 2003, the Maserati Quattroporte of the fifth series succeeds the 'IV', which was then out of production for a while. The square Quattroporte, drawn by Marcello Gandini, is succeeded by a completely new variant designed by Pininfarina. The fifth generation is seen by many as the most beautiful Quattroporte of all series and with amazing engines it is also an unprecedented joy to drive this model.
A facelift follows in 2008, with the LED taillights being the most eye-catching detail. The headlights have also been fractionally changed, but that is mainly seen by the connoisseurs. Another important upgrade is the gearbox: the somewhat classic DuoSelect, a robotized manual gearbox, is succeeded by a smooth-shifting automatic transmission from ZF. Although we can quite appreciate the raw side of the first version, this ZF is the absolute winner when it comes to flexibility, comfort and fast gear changes.

The Quattroporte you see here is one in a formidable composition. The car started its life perhaps better than any member of the family: as a Maserati executive car in Modena, at the factory. It is therefore logical that this is one of the most complete Quattroportes we know. Quattroportes are often executed in black, grey, bronze or light lacquer colours. This 4.7 S is stylish dark blue, perhaps the most beautiful colour for a Quattroporte V. The fact that it is an Executive GT means that you will lack nothing in this Italian limousine. The most beautiful black leather, which still seems to be in as new condition given the mileage of 85,472 km, is completed by luxury such as wooden finishing, all the things you would expect on such a car and also all the luxury in the back: folding tables to be able to work if you being driven, operating the climate control, sunshade in the rear and many other things.
The interior is in beautiful condition throughout, with all materials of high quality and we can't get enough of the beautiful blue meters placed in the shape of a drop.

The body of the car is just as beautiful as the interior. The paint of the steel parts is the first everywhere, not surprising because the car has always been cherished. After its life as an executive car, the car had only one German owner until a few years ago and then the car had an owner in the Netherlands who had the car given all the maintenance that the Maserati could wish for at a brand specialist. The invoices of the last few years are therefore with the car, whereby both the work carried out and the company where this was done give us a lot of confidence in this car.

The 4.7 liter V8 in this Maserati is basically also used in the Ferrari F430. A motor known as reliable, which also convinces with its Italian temperament, performance and sound. With 431 hp you can be sure that 'keeping up with the traffic' is no problem. For you then, it will be difficult for other traffic to catch up. The engine picks up very immediately and treats you to a beautiful sound. Warm, slightly hoarse and at the same time a nice clear howl when the engine is allowed to show all its powers.

With major maintenance recently completed by a renowned specialist, an amazing colour combination, perfect condition and excellent technology, we do not have to praise this already beautiful sedan: there are very few to be found in this condition and with this history. A classic in the making.
