Description

"The Maserati Quattroporte (meaning 'four doors' in Italian) is a luxury four-door saloon of which there have been six generations, each separated by a period of approximately seven years. In the early 1960’s, Maserati's reputation was increasing, with growing popularity and sales; Prince Karim Aga Khan ordered a special Maserati 5000 WP, chassis number 103,060, designed by Pietro Frua. The following year, Maserati showed the first generation Quattroporte, with the design by Frua, and construction carried out by Vignale. In 2004, Maserati commenced production of the Pininfarina designed Quattroporte which, due to its increased weight over the Coupé and Spyder, produced a 0-60 mph time of 5.6 seconds with a top speed of 167mph. Unveiled to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 9th September 2003 and making its US premiere at the 2003 Pebble Beach Concours d'Élégance, it continues the long tradition of Quattroporte luxury saloons in the Maserati line-up. The Quattroporte's weight distribution maximises traction and power during acceleration so that the car remains exceptionally stable and well balanced at all times.
Originally registered on 2nd February 2007, this Maserati is, by any standards, a handsome car. Offering the flexibility of comfortable four-seat driving or sporty driving with great handling and performance, the attraction of a Quattroporte is obvious. As with any Maserati, the need for servicing is paramount and this example has an impressive service history, the last service being carried out on 4th November 2016 at 43,462 miles. The car was originally finished in grey but is now wrapped in white with tan interior. This Maserati benefits from a ZF gearbox and is supplied with a V5 registration document, together with a current MoT test certificate, this fine example is available to be enjoyed immediately.
