Description

Chassis no. AM 0109 1A-1700
Engine no. 1700 Three owners from new. It has been with the last one since 1981.
Always registered in Italy, and currently wearing the black plates it received in the Spring of 1981.
Still equipped with its original 6-cylinder, DOHC, dual ignition, 255 HP engine, derived directly from the legendary Formula 1 unit that powered Juan Manuel Fangio’s Maserati 250 F. It also has Lucas fuel injection.
It was repainted years ago, retaining its original color scheme of "Azzurro Metallizzato" (metallic light blue) over cream interiors.
Conservatively restored towards the end of the 1980s, maintaining maximum originality of finishing and components. Today it is well preserved, with some slight traces of use and a splendid patina.
Bearing original Campagnolo magnesium wheels.
A highlight of this car’s history is a trip it made to Norway. Travelling with a group of Maserati owners, it completed the roundtrip journey successfully
Designed by Frua, the Mistral is one of the most enchanting sports cars of the 1960s. Refined and luxuriously fitted out, it was one of the first cars to combine fast journeys with maximum comfort.
Rare vehicle, as only 828 units were assembled by Turin-based Carrozzeria Maggiora.
