Cette très belle Maserati Kyalami a été livrée neuve à Bruxelles en 1978. Dans les années 1990, elle a été achetée par un Parisien qui l’a faite entretenir par le garage Rodier dans le 9e arrondissement de Paris. Elle a par la suite été vendue à un concessionnaire Citroën de Grenoble, grand amateur de Maserati qui l’a revendue fin 2009 au propriétaire actuel. Son compteur affiche moins de 3 000 km, ce qui laisse supposer qu’elle aurait un peu plus de 100 000 km. Sa carrosserie et sa peinture ont été entièrement refaites. La sellerie a bénéficié d’un nettoyage approfondi, mais n’a pas été changée et son cuir affiche une magnifique patine. Pour sa mécanique, elle a été confiée (révision et réglage) à Isotta, l’un des meilleurs spécialistes Maserati en France. Trains avant et arrière, freinage, amortisseurs ont été refaits à neuf, jusqu’aux roulements, et le système électrique a été révisé. Depuis tous ces travaux, la voiture a seulement parcouru quelques kilomètres. C’est un vrai plaisir à conduire. Il s’agit de l’un des 76 exemplaires en version 4,9 litres sur les 200 exemplaires produits entre 1976 et 1983. Un modèle très rare doté des meilleurs perfectionnements mécaniques de l’époque. L’une des dernières grande Maserati traditionnelles.

This beautiful Maserati Kyalami was delivered new in Brussels in 1978. In the 1990s, the car was bought by a Parisian who had it maintained by Garage Rodier, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It was subsequently sold to a Citroën dealer in Grenoble, a big Maserati fan, who parts with it at the end of 2009, selling it to the current owner. Its odometer shows less than 3,000 km, which suggests it would possibly be a little over 100,000 km. The bodywork and paint have been completely redone. The upholstery has benefited from a good thorough cleaning but is still original and the leather has got a beautiful patina. The mechanic has been entrusted (maintenance and service) to Isotta, one of the best Maserati specialists in France. Front and rear running gears, braking, and shock absorbers have been redone, new wheel bearings, and the electrical system has been checked. Since all this work, the car has only been driven for a few kilometres. It's a pleasure to drive it. This is one of 76 examples with the 4.9 litre version out of the 200 produced between 1976 and 1983. A very rare model with the best technology of the time. One of the last true great classic Maserati.
