French registration - Rare 4.9L engine and all options - A true 2 + 2 - Classic Maserati which is still very affordable In 1968, Maserati made both six- and eight-cylinder models. These two types of engines, followed the 300S and 350S for the six-cylinder models, and the 450 S for the eight-cylinder models, used since 1960 for the 5000 GTs and the Quattroporte, the Mexico and the Ghibli. Alfredo Vignale's bodywork designed by in-house designer Virginio Vairo, in the spirit of the Ghibli, remains a true classic and the design of the interior reflects a certain level of refinement: air conditioning, tinted electric windows, adjustable steering wheel, which is also power assisted and mechanic which is known for its drivability and tractability. The Maserati Indy is equipped with a ZF 5-speed box, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h, thanks to the engine developing 355bhp. The luggage compartment has an appropriate size and the car can easily welcome four persons. The Indy is a very refined car, notable for the absence of wind noise and reasonable fuel consumption. The car on offer is a very rare 4.9-litre of American origin with air conditioning, black leather interior, good quality paint and equipped with a stainless steel exhaust. The Michelin XWX tyres are about 30 % worn. The Indy is the last of the Maserati GTs of the 1960s that is still affordable and is a real 2 +2. Definitely a great investment.
