The Maserati GranSport. The racehorse of the 3200 GT stable. The basis was already good, but this version is really finished! The GranSport got a tighter suspension, bigger brakes and a transmission that reacted very fast. Furthermore, the GranSport can be recognized by its larger wheels, thickly shaped sideskirts and mounted bumpers. The 4,244 cc V8 remained almost unchanged, only now with 400 horses. As far as we're concerned, every Maser sounds divine; but with the interference of Ferrari, an angelic song really comes out of the four thick exhaust pipes. Starting with goose bumps and when she is warm, the intensity and volume of a breed of Italian; Bella Macchina!

Compared to the competition at that time the GranSport was a bit old fashioned. That makes that the XKR, M6 and 911 S of that time are not really Cool Classics yet. The Maserati is slowly becoming a classic and comes very close to what a enthusiast wants; mechanical speed and the feeling of real driving!

Ours is in the Rosso Mondiale and has the carbon steering wheel. It is fully maintained and has only smiled for 69 thousand kilometres, which covers not only the emotional considerations, but also the rational ones! In the end only 2,432 were born with the Ferrari F430 heart, which makes it a rather rare Italian. So, who comes to drink an espresso at our clubhouse? A double one, that fits the Gransport.

Der GranSport bekam eine straffere Federung, größere Bremsen und ein Getriebe, das sehr schnell reagierte. Darüber hinaus erkennt man den GranSport an seinen größeren Rädern, dick geformten Seitenwänden und montierten Stoßstangen. Der 4.244 ccm große V8 blieb fast unverändert, nur jetzt mit 400 Pferden. Für uns klingt jeder Maser göttlich; aber mit der Einmischung von Ferrari kommt wirklich ein Engelsgesang aus den vier dicken Auspuffrohren. Beginnend mit Gänsehaut und wenn sie warm ist, die Intensität und das Volumen einer Rasse von Italienern; Bella Macchina!

Verglichen mit der damaligen Konkurrenz war der GranSport ein wenig altmodisch. Damit sind der XKR, der M6 und der 911 S von damals noch keine wirklich coolen Klassiker. Der Maserati entwickelt sich langsam zu einem Klassiker und kommt dem, was ein Enthusiast wünscht, sehr nahe: mechanische Geschwindigkeit und das Gefühl des echten Fahrens!

Unseres ist im Rosso Mondiale und hat das Carbon-Lenkrad. Sie ist vollständig gewartet und hat nur 69 Tausend Kilometer lang gelächelt, was nicht nur die emotionalen, sondern auch die rationalen Erwägungen abdeckt!
