Milan was already a beautiful city on March 16th. 2005, but became even more beautiful when dealer Rossocorsa delivered this beautiful Maserati GranSport 4.2. In superb black metallic paint, the car immediately gets a very classic-chic look. The styling of the car is very smooth and certainly not intrusive like many other sports cars. Designer Pininfarina did a perfect job and designed a timeless combination of sportiness and luxury. In such a way that 15 years later, it is still a car that can appeal to many enthusiasts.
That appeal must then be substantiated by perfect quality. And we can fully supply that with this Coupe registered in the Netherlands since November 23th. 2015. Shortly before that, the purchase was settled at Rossocorsa, the same dealer that had also delivered the Maserati, and a number of maintenance work was also carried out. The invoice of this work is of course present. When it was imported into the Netherlands, the mileage was 29.537 km., and that is still very low now with 46.945 km. That is because the owner simply did not have the time to drive a lot because he had to divide the scarce time between the many Italian cars in his collection. Making choices between something beautiful and even more beautiful can sometimes be difficult … In any case, he enjoyed it immensely from 2015 until recently, especially during holiday trips.
The GranSport is actually a car that impresses you at different levels. Both very sporty or relaxed driving, he knows how to impress. Of course it’s 4.2 ltr. and 400 Cavallino’s delivering, Ferrari-built heart is the base. The automated Cambiocorso six-speed gearbox with F1-style paddles at the steering wheel, also does its job perfectly and the gear switching times have been reduced by no less than 35 percent compared to its predecessor, the 4200 GT. Not only the technology but also the interior has been brought to a higher level and treats driver and passengers with great luxury and delightful seats. Driving hundreds of miles is no punishment. Relaxed driving and enjoying the torque of the V8 is of course lovely to do, but who wants to feel what the potential is of GranSport, there is the sports mode. IN addition to that the MSP (Maserati Stability Program) can be switched off and the Italian party really can begin! At higher revs, a pneumatic valve in the exhaust opens…A guarantee for goosebumps on your arms! The great suspensions is taking car for the rest of the fun, giving the car a very nice neutral character and yet you feel exactly what it does and can do. Once you’ve shaken your wild hair and a highway looms up, you immediately notice that it is also a great and comfortable touring car. A real Italian GT.
The qualities of this Maserati GranSport were also fully cherished after their arrival in the Netherlands, which also includes the technical maintenance that was neatly provided by a Italian car specialist. We did our best to fotograph the quality of the (first!) paint and the delightful 2 + 2 interior in the best possible way, but in reality it will surprise you even more how perfect everything is.
