Description

• Very early example No 2
• Original C type parts
• Delightful Patina

Established in 1968, Lynx Engineering started out restoring, maintaining and undertaking race preparation / repair of original C type, D type and XKSS Jaguars. Building off this invaluable experience they went on to produce spectacular ‘tool room’ recreations to a very high standard.

Original Lynx C types are known to be among the very best in the world with accurately hand built panel work and authentically detailed interiors. The mechanicals are true to the originals and, unlike many mere ‘replicas’ are almost impossible to differentiate from the real thing.
Offered here is a very early example of a Lynx C type which provides fabulous good looks while being very usable; all at a fraction of the cost an original which all but out of reach.

Pleasingly this car incorporates a number of original C type parts and over the years its aluminium body and interior has gained a beautiful patina. The driving experience is excellent and gives the feel of the original as well as the soundtrack.

It is ready to be viewed at our premises in Battle.
