This Lotus Exige S 260 is powered by 257 bhp, factory supercharged 1.8 liter, Mid-mounted inline 4-cylinder with DOHC & Variable Valve Timing and lift intelligence. The S 260 was set up from the factory to be a track weapon with a lightweight flywheel, lightweight racing battery, double adjustable Ohlins dampers with remote reservoirs, Torsen limited slip differential, and Accusump oil accumulator unit. For 2010, the Exige was updated with Alcantara seat inserts and trim, new 5-spoke Forged wheels and revised front and rear clamshell styling. It will sprint from 0 – 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 150 mph and stop using factory cross-drilled AP Racing brakes.

Reducing lightness even further, the S 260 was fitted with extensive carbon fiber components including the hard top, access panels, side scoops, dashboard, front splitter, rear wing, seat shells, rear tailgate/engine cover and door sills. As part of the “Sector 111” community, the Exige was fitted with the following Sector 111 components: Larini sport exhaust, transmission cables, tow hook, baffled oil pan and motor mount inserts. The Exige is also fitted with Schroth racing seat belts (behind the seats with factory shoulder belts still in place).

This Exige S 260 is one of the last Exige models to enter the USA since their being discontinued for importation in 2011. These Exige S 260 models (already iconic) have become highly sort after. With values now on the rise, excellent examples such as this collector owned and cared for S 260, an example which has only covered 7,000 miles since new have become a very rare find, especially in this desirable color combination!
