This Lotus Esprit S3 Turbo came out of the chains on 29 October 1984 and was registered in 1985 in the United States. It was the fourth of eleven Lotus Esprit models in black and gold finish destined for the United States in 1985. It is therefore adorned with a black paint (A02) highlighted with golden details, typical of the JPS colours of the Formula 1 Lotus, golden BBS rims and a beige leather interior that will delight her. It was imported from the United States in 2013 by Mr. Salim in England. It was then put back into European configuration by the Lotus South West centre. The paint and interior have been redone or renovated with new carpets, a renovated steering wheel etc... The original engine number LD910841021923 was removed and rebuilt. In total, more than £18,500 was spent on the renovation of the car, which is now in superb condition, having only 1000 miles since its arrival in Europe. We could see the car on a bridge and its bases are in very good condition, without rust on the beam chassis and running gear, nor friction or other blows under the body.
It is probably one of the most beautiful Esprit on the market, a true supercar presented at a price that is still affordable. It has just undergone the required TUV inspection in Germany, which allowed it to obtain a German registration certificate in the historical category, testifying to the condition and authenticity of the car.
