This Land Rover 88 series 3 has a beautiful and special story. Originally made in England, it was ordered new at the factory in person (Personally Exported) and destined for Ethiopia; it was ordered with left-hand drive, as shown in the Heritage certificate.

Imported into Italy in 1981, it was then registered in Tuscany (city of Siena), and then deregistered in 1999, where it has been left unused for many years.

Limestone Beige bodywork, as shown in the heritage certificate, is in intact and original condition, and it was repainted in the past. Floor is sound. Chassis is in good condition with normal signs of wear, the dry climate preserved this Land Rover without excessive corrosion.

Deluxe interior is in fair condition, rear seats were installed new some years ago.

This is a 7-seater (3+4) version.

The engine is running and starts from the ignition panel. However, the clutch pump needs to be replaced due to long inactivity and more work certainly needs to be done before road use.

Version with Overdrive optional extra in order to have a longer higher gear for normal road use, which is very useful during daily modern use.

This is an excellent opportunity to buy a Land Rover with some mechanical work to do, it is increasingly rare to find these cars in original condition and not having had a very tough life.

The car was deregistered in Italy and it comes with an ACI PRA certificate, which is useful for registration in Italy or abroad. An official Data Sheet with technical data will also be delivered together with the car.
