1982 LAND ROVER SERIES III
Built on April 27, 1983 in Solihull England as Series III, 88 in base, light green LHD export vehicle (A certified copy of the Factory Record issued by British Motor Heritage Trust). It has an original 2.25 Ltr petrol engine and an original syncro gear box that shifts perfectly. The car underwent a meticulous frame on restoration, including upgrades for comfort and safety. Some items in the car were left as original to maintain that retro look we all love. The vehicle has not been altered from its original form other than upgrades. Main restored or replaced items, among others include complete paint job to make it look as good as new (Inside, out and under with the original spec paint). All gaskets, seals, rings and admission valves were replaced for the new ones, new battery and all new wiring and all seats and roof were reupholstered and seats were upgrade to include head rest. All new items include seatbelts installed on all front seats, original ceiling light, windshield washer bottle, directional wand and wiper/washer switch and original light switch, Euro style lamps with wiring except headlights but including reverse light, LED license plate light, door latches and key barrels, new door and window seals, LR windows, custom fabricated tire holder, custom standard front carpet set, rear acoustic floor mat, and water temperature gauge.
