"There can be few cars that are as well-known and iconic as the mighty Range Rover. Launched in 1970 and built in the UK, this leader in the 4x4 field is now on its fifth incarnation. Enjoyed by Royalty and rap stars alike the Range Rover is both aspirational and practical. The car described as ‘the best 4x4 by far’ and has been the winner of numerous awards. In 1972 the British Trans-Americas Expedition using Range Rovers became the first vehicle-based expedition to traverse the Americas from north-to-south, including traversing the roadless Darien Gap. This 4.2 Vogue SE Supercharged was registered in July 2006 and is an example of the fourth generation of the world-famous Range Rover.
