Description

Sold locally to a classic car enthusiast this LSE has been known to us since new, for we used to see her running around town, with the owner driving sedately with a huge grin on his face - always

He had transferred his cherished plate from his Bentley 'R' Type Continental, so the Range Rover was instantly recognizable

The history folder includes the original order form from November 1993, with delivery from the Factory in early 1994 and thereafter all servicing was always entrusted to the supplying dealership in South Kensington - a total of 23 service stamps validate the regular maintentance carried out, plus a heap of other invoices for extra works being carried out here and there during his 22 year ownership

Quite amazing really to have maintained such a long association with the servicing dealership and we can't remember another Range Rover Classic with such a complete authorised service history

Usually driven to the Continent each year for use at one of their holiday homes, the mileage is now 115.500 miles, most of which have been covered during these long journey's, ensuring the smooth delivery from the drive train still

The owner and his lovely wife, from whom we purchased the LSE, are particular about their motor cars, and items such as the interior leather has been fed on a regular basis, hence the quality and smoothness of the seats

We have changed the headlining, for it was just beginning to drop and then we undertook a full service, with new fluids to the engine, gearbox, transfer box and differentials as well as all of the normal service items being attended to

We also fitted a new electronic ignition system

The suspension system has been serviced and working perfectly, as do the seat motors, electric sunroof, electric windows & mirrors and the air conditioning too

We have also sourced from Scotland a set of hand made Tweed over carpets to match the new fresh coat of Bentley Smoke Green paint, with a matching fine line in black

As the LSE came with a Brooklands body kit when new, we chose to colour code the 'D' posts and no Range Rover badging for the bonnet and the rear tailgate

The radio is a period Alpine unit with Sat/Nav, bluetooth, AUX and etc with an electronic screen which pops out of the fascia - of course he upgraded the Sat/Nav recently so system is nearly up to date too

An absolute joy to drive and to behold too - a very rare variant and one in this condition is most difficult to find
