Description

Previously supplied by us, this must be one of the very finest of these remarkable Classic Range Rovers

Supplied new with all of the "top of the pops" extras, these really were out of the ordinary and a real step up in value terms from the 'normal' Vogue SEa

We supplied her 3 years ago and previously 3 years earlier as well

In the meantime we have maintained her meticulously for both of the previous owners as well

We also had the engine rebuilt by our friend John Eales (you know the chap you developed the 4.2 litre version of the V8 as used by the factory for the original LSE)

We asked for an engine with lots of mid range power rather than a high revving unit - so we now have an engine with loads of mid range and low down power giving amazing acceleration

There is power graph in the history folder showing the full fat 300ft / lbs of torque with the a minimum of 250bhp

Below is a copy of blurb as we listed her then before sale 3 years ago:-

"When she arrived on the day of completion we were completely overwhelmed with how absolutely lovely she is

Sharp body lines and panel fit, fine paintwork and really dry underside made us realize that although she has covered 95.000 miles this was something special

Moreover when we looked into the paperwork we were again nothing but amazed - a massive file of history, including two service stamp voucher booklets, with 22 stamps therein, MoT's going back to her first in 1996 and tax discs going back to 1998

Absolutely amazing - and naturally with all this supporting her when we came to give her a run around the block she was without fault

Air suspension working completely to specification, freezing cold air conditioning, smooth drive train with no slack, and all electrical items performing correctly

We have given her our usual major service with new oils for engine, transfer box, gearbox & diffs etc, a fresh MoT together with a new headlining

She also has an upgraded stereo and the Brooklands body kit, as those of you keen on the brand would have already noticed

There is also a new set of Land Rover overmats on the way to us to protect the carpets too

It's understandable that we couldn't do anything but keep her and offer the opportunity for another caring owner to take over from us

Should no-one wish to take up this offer we are more than happy to use her for ourselves - because not only do we love the understated colours we love her because she is an absolute cracker!!!"

As you can see, when we supplied her, as mentioned, 3 years ago, now 6 years ago originally, she was an absolute cracker

Nevertheless our new owner, one of our most endearing and trusting customers, embarked on a stratospheric restoration - a restoration upon which he chose to put on his mark, and in an indulgent manner - no stone was left uncovered and no flouting in the money department either!

The pictures speak for themselves cosmetically and his choice of materials and finishes leave this LSE ahead of any others

His keen eye for his other Ferrari's, Aston's and Bentley's have all contributed here

The hides are of the highest quality, as were the carpets (Harris Tweed don't you know...), all wood veneers were renewed , Alcantara headling, upgraded Hi-Fi system - actually this is an under statement for this is the best we have seen, or heard

Obviously he has also ensured that mechanically she been kept in similar fettle - as you would have known and since with the John Eales engine upgrade this must be one of, if not the best LSE's out there

We've had a few Overfinch Range Rover's and the Eales engine is by far the best

Can you find better - we think not
