To celebrate 67 years of production and the conclusion of the ‘Defender’, Land Rover built a limited number of Heritage Editions which have many special features including the Grasmere Green paint; a colour scheme determined by a surplus of military paint, a black square on the wing with white letters that read HUE 166 - the registration of the first pre-production Series Land Rover. Other features include but are not limited to the classic ‘lightning bolt’ Land Rover badge, the heritage-style grille, mudflaps, body colour wheels, white roof, headlamps, an Alpine radio and an anti-theft tracking system.
