Designed for the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, this Defender is reported to be one of only 10 SVX Concept models built and is believed by the consignor to be one of just seven that survived filming duties. Commissioned by Sony Pictures for the film, the SVX Concept was spearheaded by none other than Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations. Starting with standard crew cabs, the Land Rovers were then entrusted to legendary marque specialist Bowler Motors to transform them into the ultimate off-road machines.

This transformation included uprated Bilstein suspension, an integrated roll cage that runs both internally and externally, and the addition of 37" Maxxis Trepador tires bolted onto bead lock alloy wheels. The turbo-diesel engine also benefited from an increase in power to 185 hp. Inside, the truck features Recaro seats with four-point harnesses and externally the Defender was enhanced by a WARN electric winch, NAS rear step, and LED roof lights.

Showing just 3,890 km at the time of cataloguing, the Land Rover is reported by the consignor to have primarily been used in drive-by scenes in the film. Serviced in 2022, the Defender is accompanied by a car cover, Jaguar Land Rover documentation and correspondence, as well as a filming schedule and framed photos from the film set. Rare and highly desirable, this is a fantastic opportunity for any James Bond fan or off-road enthusiast.
