1992 Land Rover Defender 200 TDI, 2,500 turbo diesel engine with manual gearbox.
The car has been fully restored from bodywork to interior, the restoration project was just completed in June 2023.
The current condition of the bodywork and paintwork is excellent, with no dents or rust.
It is in very good mechanical condition, in June 2023 a service was carried out with replacement of the engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. The timing was checked but not altered.
The exhaust tailpipe was replaced with a new one.
It has no electrical faults, the mechanics are in order except for some minimal oil oozing from the engine gaskets, but this is very common for a car of this age and this size.
It was originally blue, but has been repainted in gloss black with black wheels.
Externally, the bonnet was replaced with a fibreglass one from the Puma model, the front grille was restyled and it has completely restored LED headlights and a rear wheel gate.
Almond-shaped protective grilles on the front bumpers, door sill grilles and rocker panels.
New tyres and rear shocks.
Wooden steering wheel.
An infotainment system with a 7-inch display was installed which acts as a radio, navigator and monitor with rear view camera.
Internally, the upholstery of the seats was redone, new door panels, new front armrest, rear benches in leather with the addition of 4 seat belts and new carpet covering.
The rear windows have been removed and replaced with blackout Plexiglas that covers the entire rear and makes it decidedly more modern and with an attractive design.
Overall the car is in excellent condition with a timeless style that makes it eternal.
There is no historical service history booklet, but the mileage is believed to be original given the excellent condition of the engine.
It requires no work, all you need to do is start the engine and enjoy the ride.
Before delivery the car will undergo a standard inspection.
The car is registered as a vehicle intended for the mixed transport of people and things (J.2: Van).
