Description

The Lancia Stratos is one of the most stunning car ever made, showed for the first time during the Torino Motor Show of 1973. Born from the genius of Marcello Gandini, it was a strange, but awesome, design for its time. The Stratos was equipped with the Ferrari Dino 246 engine and trasmission, a steel monocoque chassis and fiber glass body. Thanks to these features the Stratos began to win numerous races, from the "Tour De France Automobile" to the "Montecarlo Rally's" and 3 consecutive World Championship from 1974 to 1976. This particular specimen is 1 of the 500 built in the "Stradale" version, winner of the 1° price for the "Best Preserved Car" during the "Vernasca Silver Flag".!
